ORIGIN & HISTORY:

Chittel Chatter was born from a heartfelt wish shared by every parent—to find the right place where children can be gently moulded according to their own level and pace.

With the belief that every child is unique, Chittel Chatter was founded to ensure that each developmental milestone is achieved in the right phase, without pressure and with confidence. Special care is taken to observe, understand, and support every child’s learning journey, while bridging learning gaps through play-based, age-appropriate activities.

Chittel Chatter is not just a playschool—it is a nurturing space where children grow happily, learn naturally, and build a strong foundation for life.

MR. KISHORE (MECHANICAL PROJECT MANAGER (PUNE))

Mr. Kishore Manavalan (B.E.), Project Manager – Machine Tool Division, serves as the Chair Person of Chittel Chatter. With a strong engineering background and leadership experience, he brings strategic planning and organizational excellence to the institution.

MRS. SELVI ARUMUGAM (EX.MECHANICAL ENGINEER)

(FOUNDER & DIRECTOR)

Mrs. Selvi Arumugam (B.E., ADMTT, M.Sc. Psychology, Diploma in Special Education), formerly an Aerospace Design Engineer, is the Director and Principal of Chittel Chatter Playschool. Her rich academic qualifications and deep understanding of child psychology and special education help shape a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Though both hail from the engineering field, they share a deep passion for early childhood education. Their vision is to create a unique identity by nurturing young children, developing their skills from an early age, and preparing them to confidently face the competitive world.

Through a dedicated trust, they also extend their support to children from economically weaker backgrounds by admitting and educating them under the RTE scheme, believing strongly in equal learning opportunities for every child.

Together, their commitment, values, and compassion form the strong foundation of Chittel Chatter Playschool.

FACULTY

The teaching, non-teaching, and administrative staff of Chittel Chatter are key to its success and are highly valued and honoured. They play a vital role in the lives of every child who experiences Chittel Chatter. Regardless of the qualifications that both new and existing teaching and administrative staff bring on board, it is mandatory for all staff members to undergo in-house training at the beginning of the academic year.

In addition, various developmental opportunities, training programmes, and workshops are organised throughout the year. Non-teaching staff are trained and supervised by the Centre Head. All staff members are continuously motivated, appreciated, and rewarded to give their best in the rich, stimulating, and enjoyable work environment at Chittel Chatter.
